FAQ

Most frequent questions and answers

Padel court types are often defined based on size (Single or double) and type (Standard, Panoramic or Super-Panoramic). Double size Padel courts are 20m x 10m. Accounting for space needed for circulation, fencing and spectator areas, you should allow approximately 250–300 sqm per court in your planning.

At Acenta, we offer double size Padel courts starting from £18,500 excluding shipping, installation and VAT. Court costs can vary depending on the size, type and other customisable options.

Acenta’s Re-Play courts are refurbished Padel courts from former Padel centres that have been restored to a high-quality playing standard. They offer a more sustainable and cost-effective option without compromising on playability.

Padel courts can be customised with branded netting, printed turf logos or branded court structures.

Permanent courts are fixed installations with ground-anchored structures and foundations, while portable courts are modular systems that can be assembled and disassembled quickly – ideal for events or temporary spaces.

Padel courts require a level and stable foundation, typically of reinforced concrete or asphalt. Drainage and utilities for lighting and water should also be considered during groundworks. At Acenta, we are happy to advise on what groundworks would be suitable for the size and type of court you require.

In most cases, yes. Planning permission is usually required for new build courts, floodlighting or if the site is near residential zones. At Acenta, we can guide you towards a suitable planning consultant who could assist you in your project.

This depends on your market and business plan, but three to four courts is the minimum recommended for creating a community and hosting events. Larger venues often have 6–10 courts.

Both options have pros and cons. Outdoor courts are more cost-effective and faster to install but weather-dependent. Indoor courts allow year-round play and higher utilisation but require greater upfront investment.

Canopies are recommended due to the frequent rain. Covered outdoor Padel courts can offer a balance between cost efficiency and year-round usability. However, canopy costs are often high and should be factored into any business plan for a new Padel centre.

Yes – supporting amenities improve user experience and help maximise dwell time and revenue. At minimum, offering changing rooms, toilets, and food and beverage areas can enhance commercial returns.

Yes, having on-site or remote management ensures smooth operation, maintenance and customer service. Software solutions are available which can help automate bookings and operations.

Yes – offering rental or sale of Padel rackets and balls makes the sport accessible for newcomers and can generate you extra income. At Acenta, we are happy to offer your preferential business rates on all Padel equipment and clothing for your centre.

Revenue can vary widely, but well-run Padel centres in the UK typically generate £25,000–£60,000+ annually per court depending on location, pricing and usage levels.
