Acenta Group is expanding its presence in the world of padel with the upcoming launch of the Peliga Pro Padel Ball, the latest addition to its Peliga product line. The new ball is designed to deliver both quality and playability, making it suitable for training sessions as well as competitive play.
The ball has been developed in close collaboration with elite players from Denmark and Sweden. Through extensive testing and comparisons across different prototypes, Acenta has refined the details to create a product that meets the demands of modern padel. The result is a ball offering:
- Enhanced control – a harder core for greater precision.
- Increased speed – travels faster across the court for a more dynamic game.
- Strong durability – maintains performance over many hours of play.
Padel balls are among the sport’s most essential and frequently consumed products, which makes this segment particularly attractive for growth. With the Peliga Pro Padel Ball, Acenta aims not only to deliver a premium option for both professionals and recreational players, but also to strengthen its market position internationally.
“By combining quality with playability, we have created a ball that not only meets the demands of elite players but also enhances the game for recreational players. With the rapid international growth of padel, having a premium ball in our portfolio is a natural and important step. The Peliga Pro Padel Ball strengthens our market position and supports our long-term strategy of offering products that add real value to both the sport and our customers,” says Håkan Tollefsen, CEO of Acenta Group.
The ball will first be introduced through selected clubs and online sales, with a broader international rollout already in preparation. Acenta is working with distributors and resellers to ensure availability in key markets worldwide.
With the continued global expansion of padel, Acenta sees significant commercial potential in the Peliga Pro Padel Ball and expects it to contribute to sales growth in 2025 and beyond.
